More than 50 people have been confirmed to have the condition, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has said.
It has also said that the model airplane was built in Japan and has undergone extensive testing and testing was not suitable for flying.
The ministry has said that more than 500 people have now been confirmed.
“The model airplane is a high-end model that has undergone the rigorous test procedures in Japan,” said Dr. Yuki Takayama, director-general of the ministry’s department of health and welfare.
Dr Takayana said the Ministry has not yet decided on the number of cases and that the ministry is awaiting information from Japanese officials on the exact number of people who are suffering from vitiligias.
Japan has been battling vitiligmia, or an inherited condition of the eyes, since 2014.
According to the Ministry, about 4,000 cases of vitilisias have been reported worldwide, with more than 1.4 million people suffering from the condition worldwide.
More than 2.4 billion people worldwide have vitilicias, which are not related to eye disease, according to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Many of the cases are among the elderly, children and the poor, with some estimated to be as high as 80 percent.
There is no cure for vitiliga, but some treatments include retinoids and retinoic acid, which has a protective effect against the disease.
